The fruit used to produce Moppity Estate Chardonnay was handpicked from the estate’s vineyard. The free run juice was transferred to barrel and then fermented in French barriques. The resulting wine shows a pale yellow colour with bright tints. The fragrant bouquet exhibits mesmerising aromas of lemon zest, vanilla, white stone fruit and flint. The elegant palate is rife with fig, citrus and nutty flavours, coupled with toasty French oak nuances. These vibrant characters fuse together to provide a spicy and lingering finish. This delicious Chardonnay tastes great with spicy Thai food and seafood preparations.
